WELCOME TO KDE!
Founded in 1993 at Dartmouth College, Kappa Delta Epsilon is a powerful collective that is uniquely positioned to make a positive impact. As a local sorority, we take ownership over our unique social space and set the terms for how we socialize. As a unified sisterhood, we promote individual and collective growth across all endeavors and the six principles of Greek Life. As a network of campus leaders, we are a driving force for social change, bridging tradition with modernity. And as women, we seek to advance gender issues, including women’s wellness and leadership.
Our motto, “freedom lies in being bold,” is the common thread that empowers us to act with courage, passion and responsibility, within our sorority and beyond. By working together actively and respectfully, we strive to elevate Dartmouth College and KDE, and to ensure their joint success for years to come.

From the moment you join, you become part of a diverse and inclusive community of women who lift each other up, inspire growth, and create unforgettable memories. Through shared experiences, late-night conversations, and countless adventures, our sisterhood becomes your chosen family. We celebrate each other's successes, offer a shoulder to lean on during challenges, and empower one another to reach new heights. As a local sorority and the only sorority on Frat Row, we make the most of our centrally-located, female-dominated space and our one-of-a-kind basement by regularly hosting events in our own house. Our Philanthropy
As a local sorority, KDE has complete control over our philanthropy initiatives. We aren’t bound to one particular cause, but instead have the freedom to focus our efforts toward all sorts of causes important to our sisters. We believe in the power of service and giving back, and our commitment to making a positive impact is at the heart of our sisterhood. Through partnerships with local organizations, we tackle pressing social issues and contribute to causes that resonate with our values. From organizing fundraisers and volunteering in our communities to raising awareness and advocating for change, our sorority's philanthropy efforts empower us to be catalysts for the greater good.

Leadership & Core
We believe that every woman possesses unique leadership qualities waiting to be nurtured and amplified. Through a myriad of opportunities, including term-length positions and our year-long leadership board (which we call Core), we empower our members to step into their full potential, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make a difference. From leading committees and organizing events to spearheading community service initiatives, our sorority provides a platform for you to develop and showcase your leadership abilities.
